The 2019 Doctor Who Appreciation Society annual is out, this time with a First Doctor theme! Fiona Moore and Alan Stevens have two articles in this excellent publication, one on "The Web Planet" and the other concerning Terry Nation's remarkable and much superior original first draft of "The Chase".

 Just found this on the net and enjoyed it.

No idea when it was posted but I just hope that no.32 about the Whizzkid is one of the three silly things. When asked, I've always explained that originally Greatest Show was much more about computer games and there was a character called the Whizzkid because he was a brilliant games player. Then we dropped the computer stuff (thank God) and had a character left called the Whizzkid whom I unilaterally decided to turn into a nerdy fan of the Circus.
