On filesharing
With Radio Bastard about to be launched, a quick word about filesharing:
Please don't.
The simple bottom line is, we're a small business, and if our products don't sell, then we can't make any more. We know times are hard, and we've kept our CD prices the same since the early 2000s; we've kept our download prices low as well (for ten pounds, you can get over an hour and twenty minutes' worth of entertainment!).
So, if you like our plays, buy them. If you want your friends to discover them, buy them a copy, or link them to the free content on www.kaldorcity.com. If you do that, you'll not only get a great CD (with bonus autographs on the multibuy deals) or download, but you'll be supporting writers, actors, producers, and providing the support for future dramas.
Thank you all.

Radio Bastard: Here's How It Works
Here's what you need to know about Radio Bastard:
Radio Bastard is a wild, surreal and occasionally theological comedy set in the sordid recesses of the local radio station serving Little Bastard On The Prowl, a farming community somewhere in Southern England, told in 15 Tarantinoesque episodes.
Starting next Wednesday, 18 September, we will be releasing an episode a week (with occasional bonus material) on the Radio Bastard page. The episodes run between four and nine minutes each, and will be available for download only. There will be bonuses and tie-ins along the way, and customers who purchase all 15 episodes will also be eligible for a special reduction of 50% off the Buy All Six Faction Paradox CDs promotion.
So tune your dial to Radio Bastard and let the adventures begin!

Kudos from a fan
High praise from Andrew Callaghan, via e-mail:
"I have already listened to "Occam's Razor". It most certainly lives up to its reviews; from the fantastic performances and spectacular sound design - it all hinges on the very intricate plotting and dialogue.... I am thoroughly looking forward to the ensuing chapters."

Kudos for Kaldor
Sharing (with permission) a really wonderful e-mail from Alex Hargreaves:
"I don't usually send fan messages like this, but I just wanted to write you a quick email to say that I thoroughly enjoyed your Kaldor City audios.
I had heard from friends that these audios were amazing, so I decided to buy the series and give them a whirl. I certainly wasn't disappointed. The care and attention that has clearly been put into the whole production is amazing!
As a fan of Boucher's work on Dr Who and B7, the series is easily the best Doctor Who spin off audio out there. It captures the tone perfectly. Wonderful stuff!!
Thought provoking, action packed and incredibly well written, directed and acted. Not quite sure I get everything yet - Just the way it should be. "

"Rotten Apples" at the Manchester Fringe
Niall Leonard's classic black comedy "Rotten Apples" has been adapted for the stage by Alan Stevens, and is now coming to the Manchester Fringe Festival!
Belfast, 1989. Detective Inspector Spallen is being given the runaround by a dodgy grass in his hunt for a notorious terrorist-- the Werewolf. But when his increasingly unreliable informant tells him the police have the Werewolf in custody without realising it, what lengths will Spallen go to ensure the facts fit the case?
You can catch it at the Lass O'Gowrie on 14 July at 8:30 PM, and 18 and 19 July at 7:30 PM. Tickets are available from www.greatermanchesterfringe.co.uk.
